Illustrative art - Paris 1800's -2024

A tribute to Renoir and Corbusier, with a mix of iconic vehicles and a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower.

A key feature is the present day restaurant Le Moulin de la Galette.  This was a favourite location for the painter Renoir.  Renoir classic "Le Moulin de la Galette' features people dancing and drinking. I have represented this by separating the people but keeping them in their original poses.  Renoir is then positioned in an adjacent building (cutaway) just starting his next masterpiece.

Corbusier is featured standing on the balcony of his apartment building 'Immeuble Molitor' smoking his pipe and looking over Paris.  The ficticious cafe/bar 'Henri's' features two of Corbusier furniture designs.

When in Paris, the funicular railway will take you to Sacre de Cour, in this picture it will take you to  the Eiffel Tower.

Look out for: Le Deux Magots Restaurant, a Boulangerie, Deschamps flower store,  iconic French vehicles and the different fashions from 1890s to current day.

As with other pictures in the journey, this picture includes over 100 characters going about their day.  This picture is #5 in the journey.

The original size is A2 and I packed in a lot of detail.

The bigger the print size, the easier it is to see the intricate detail.

Frames are NOT included in purchase price, but to show you that the prints look great any size, the photo of the framed picture is an A2 print in an A1 frame.
